Welcome to our Venue
The Shelley Beach Arts Centre is a venue encouraging and organising artistic and cultural activities and events, focused on fostering community spirit and local artists.
By making art accessible for all, it offers artists a space for exhibiting, participating or hosting workshops. Dreaming of organising your own exhibition? Sharing your skills in a workshop? this is the space for you! Contact us, we will help make your dream come true.
In the last 40 years, the partly renovated SBAC building has always been a place for creativity and you can feel the energy accumulated in its walls. Inspiration and inventiveness are boosted by the setting in a wilderness protected area.
A great scenery conducive to inspiration shared with other surrounding artists like the Torbay Glass Studio, Meleah Farrell Photography and The Coastal Studio.
Don’t forget to connect with us by following us on Facebook and leaving your email to stay informed about our activities and receive event invitations, information on our services and exclusive offers sent straight to your inbox.
Ideally located at mid-distance between Albany and Denmark, the Venue is situated on top of Torbay Hill with iconic views over Cosy Corner Beach to the Torndirrup National Park, Albany and its Hinterlands, on the doorstep to the Cape Howe National Park and Shelley Beach.
The Venue is equipped with mobile exhibition panels and pedestals for 2D and 3D exhibitions, trestle tables and chairs for workshops and events. See list here
A charming small café offering coffee and cake is open during holidays and/or large events.
